How to Enable JavaScript for Your Browser
Windows
Internet Explorer
- Under the Tools menu, choose Internet Options...
- Click the Security tab.
- Click the Internet planet icon.
- Click the button Custom Level...
- Under Active Scripting (near the bottom), click "Enable".
Firefox
- Under the Tools menu, choose Options...
- Click the Web Features panel.
- Put a check in the box labelled "Enable JavaScript".
Netscape
- Under the Tools menu, choose Options...
- Click the Site Controls tab.
- Under Web Features, but a check in the box labelled "Enable Javascript".
- (Note: on the bottom left of the browser window, you may want to click the little popup menu
and choose "Display like Firefox.")
Opera
- Under the Tools menu, choose the Quick Options
submenu
- Make sure that the item "Enable JavaScript" is checked.
Mac OSX
Internet Explorer
- This browser is not supported. Choose another from the list below.
Firefox
- Under the Firefox menu, choose Preferences...
- Click the Web Features panel.
- Put a check in the box labelled "Enable JavaScript".
Netscape
- Under the Netscape menu, choose Preferences...
- Click the Advanced tab, then Scripts and Plugins.
- Put a check in the box labelled "Enable JavaScript for: Navigator".
- Make sure that the box labelled "Allow scripts to:" has a check in each item.
Opera
- Under the Opera menu, choose the Quick Preferences
submenu menu.
- Make sure that the item "Enable JavaScript" is checked.
Safari
- Under the Safari menu, choose Preferences...
- Click the Security tab.
- Put a check in "Web Content: Enable JavaScript".
